It's been way too long since my last blog. I had some distractions get in the way which actually in an odd way turned out to be good.
I got really sick back in September. I mean sick for a week and then took almost a month to recover! But in that time while resting I had the opportunity to reevaluate my priorities and my art. Which also lead to spending a lot more time with God, which in turn has given me more focus and peace! That's been the last few months in a nutshell.
What this blog is about is a watercolor series that I did many months ago! I had tried to scan and upload them onto the computer but my scanner stopped working. My husband tried to fix it and in that time, somehow I had forgotten all about the paintings! So here they are finally, in all their digital glory!
The one above is called Wispy Morn. Looking at a sunrise through the grass.
With these space ones my goal was to play with colors! I love the fact of how colorful space pictures are and wanted to capture that in these. Even though I didn't have a definite plan when I painted these, it allowed me to go with the flow and experiment more.
The one on the left is called Setting Shadows and the one on the right is Streaming Light. Since I love the woods and how light will shine through the foliage of the trees, that was my goal here.
I hope you enjoy this series! They are now available for prints and other accessories on my pixels page.
Have a fabulous day!
